Hi, my name is Iryna, and I'm a Ukrainian living in Phoenix, AZ. My growing interest in sustainable living and my Ukrainian heritage have led me to create a purpose-driven brand. I founded The Modern Heritage to promote sustainability, ethical production, and support fair treatment and fair pay for artisans.

Our Story
In the last 30 years, Ukrainian artists and makers have rediscovered traditional historic Ukrainian craftsmanship and art that were nearly eliminated during Soviet times.
Traditional craft with a modern twist has emerged, encompassing weaving, knitting, embroidery, glasswork, ceramics, and wool works among its specialties.
Ukrainian artisans continue to create beautiful and authentic decor and accessories despite the numerous challenges posed by the ongoing war.
