The Modern Heritage is a small, independent home décor company bringing thoughtfully crafted pieces from Ukrainian artisans and makers to homes across the U.S.

Our collection is centered around timeless design, quality materials, and craftsmanship — pieces made to be used, loved, and kept for years.

Our Story

The Modern Heritage was founded by Iryna, a Ukrainian living in Phoenix, Arizona, with a love for beautiful interiors and a deep appreciation for Ukrainian craftsmanship.

The idea began with a simple desire: to introduce more people to the work of talented Ukrainian makers creating contemporary home goods while preserving the character and traditions of handmade craft.

Today, we carefully select pieces that feel both modern and enduring — from natural linen table textiles and hand-crocheted pillows to ceramics and other distinctive objects for the home.

Thoughtfully Made

We believe a home should be filled with fewer, better things.

That means choosing pieces for their craftsmanship, materials, function, and lasting design rather than passing trends. Many of the products in our collection are made by independent artisans and small Ukrainian brands using traditional techniques and natural materials.

The Makers

Ukraine has a rich tradition of textile work, embroidery, weaving, ceramics, knitting, and other forms of craftsmanship. A new generation of Ukrainian makers continues to reinterpret these traditions through contemporary design.
